too swell

Buddies,

My body has a unusual reacktion to wear & tear. Or prhaps I shoud say that it has a unpredicktable reacktion. Fer instance, I walk alot. I always have, since I dont drive. Fokes who know me know that I rathr like t walk. All th walkin I do means that my feets take a pretty good poundin in th course of a day.

But on rare ockasions, my feet swell up sompm awful, & th pain is quite unbearable. If it was JUS th walkin that causes that, then Id figgr th swellin & pain woud be more or less CONSTANT. But it aint, leadin me to think that theres some othr agent at werk when I get these flare-ups.

And th flare-ups emselfs is diffrent from one to th nex. Somtimes its my right foot that swells. Somtimes its my lef foot. Somtimes one swells & gets bettr bfore th othr one does th same. Somtimes th flare-up lasts a couple o days. Somtimes it lasts ovr a week.

On rare ockasions, my normal desk acktivitys causes one or th othr o my wrists to swell up & hurt in quite th same way. My docktr dont realy know what causes this.

Anyhowski, when I recently hurt one o my hans pretty bad, my othr wrist startd hurtin too — hurtin werse, evn. This lef me wif TWO mangld mitts.

Havin two mangld mitts, I was hardly up fer any enthusiasktick bloggin. Ovr at The Joey Polanski Show, I got so much stuff in draft, that Im pretty sure I couda kept up my reggalr postin sckedule in spite of havin two nearly non-funcktional mitts; but bloggin fer me has become moren jus postin stuff ovr at JPS. Its also about visitin & comentin ovr at th “Places I Play”; & there are so many o them, I knew I woont be makin my rounds as usual. Wif that in mind, to keep postin at JPS wouda seemd rude — like I was only intrestd in doin my thing, an dint give a shit about mixin it up wif my pals as they was doin their thing.

I sppose I couda put up a post explainin my absence, but I always find em kinda posts t be rathr lame. The Joey Polanski Show is intended to be a werk o art, & so Im always cncerned, not as much wif how it reads right now, as its still a ongoin werk, but rathr wif how its a-gonna read once th final curtain comes down & it aint bein updatd no more. I want th JPS to be a fun & intresting read evn fer fokes who might find it long aftr its done.

In othr werds, th JPS aint a diary blogski. It aint a way o keepin fokes apprisd o whats goin on in th life o Joey Polanski. Its prpose is to make fokes laff, & inspire em t joke. “I wont be postin fer a while, cause …” and “Hey! I’m back!” woud seem to undrmine th art.

So here at th Hole, my auxiliary / utility blog, I post my lame-ass story about whats kep me away from bloggin fer what I think sets a new reckord fer th longest inacktive period in JPS histry. Readrs will undrstand, or they wont.
